Just as similar sites have compiled movie and television credits in one convenient place, fills this void in the fashion world.

“Most published work in fashion only lists a few verified credits at best and some of the very people that are creating these pages, through no fault of their own, are being left without acknowledgement of their work,” says Britton. “Artists need to concentrate on the set as the shoot comes alive, and as they move on to their next project, it’s often difficult to assure their work is credited and recognized. will do just that.”

Founded in 2008, MyFDB now boasts over 40,000 people profiles and over 7,000 companies & images. The now successful concept also has the support of various industry notables - such as Zoe Saldana (Avatar).
