Interview: Playwright Bill Marchant talks about the world premiere of POT KETTLE BLACK.

Renowned Vancouver-based playwright Bill Marchant sat down with Style Republic Magazine Editor-in-Chief, Brittany Law, to discuss the world premiere of his latest work, POT KETTLE BLACK.

Directed by Matt Fentiman and produced by Vagrant Players Theatre Society, POT KETTLE BLACK follows a colourful cast of characters who attend what, on the surface, appears to be a routine dinner party among friends.

“It’s a raw, brazen, dangerous piece,” explains Marchant. “I’ve spent the last ten-years shaping and honing it so that It can have the desired impact on the audience that I want which is, ultimately, to entertain people, but also to hold a mirror up to who we are in this society.”

POT KETTLE BLACK opens at The PAL Theatre (581 Cardero Street) in Vancouver, Canada on February 21, 2020, and runs until February 29, 2020.
