Katy Perry's Italian Vogue Cover, Meet Canadian Vintage

A few things came to mind when we saw superstar Katy Perry's July Italian Vogue cover. One thought was, "Oh my gosh, she looks just like vintage Madonna!" and the second was, "That is a great vintage accessory resting on the collar of Katy Perry (who seriously looks like vintage Madonna!)" The man responsible for the only piece of jewelry on this cover is Canada's own Alan Anderson, who was present for the rare display of his most recent collection last Thursday at Holt Renfrew.

Alan Anderson is known for his renowned, one-of-a-kind vintage designs that boast a healthy celebrity following. The champagne gathering at Holt Renfrew allowed some of Anderson's long-time clients and Canada's fashionable elite to try on some of his exquisite creations.
